An ointment is applied for 48 hours after a treatment. After that, moisturizer, makeup, and sunscreen may be applied. Mild swelling and redness and minimal to no bruising may persist for a week.

There is no oozing or discomfort afterward. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and use good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing the future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles, slow the aging process, and protect your results
